tuesday, november 25 (baltimore, md)
my brother and i went to baltimore to spend the night at my sister's. she exchanged ava for the night with my parents. we walked around a little bit and then they got some alcohol. i drank beer, got into two bars (was served at one), and took many pictures. it was a good night... it was kind of cool finally being old enough to be 'in' with my older siblings, as i have always seen them going out and partying and i always staying at home with the parents, watching 20/20 or To Catch a Predator. and i think that's what made the night fun, and the alcohol consumption was a bonus.

on our way to Donna's, somewhere in downtown baltimore
ava made a gingerbread house with her bibi jan (my mom, ie farci for grandmother).
she was pretty excited to show us when we got home.
thursday, november 27: thanksgiving

i love my mother.

thursday, november 27: thanksgiving
thanksgiving was spent rejoicing everything that we're grateful for... kind of. actually, it was a day to clean, clean, cook, clean, and have family over. only i didn't do much of anything, which means kudos to duh' parental units! mom made a huge dinner of everything and it was delicious. and i drank some more. i ate ate ate some turkey turkey mashed potatoes. and we've got leftovers, too! joy!

friday, november 28 was a day to sit back and chill. no pictures taken. i slept in, had breakfast, and played with ava. neelab and ben and ava were planning on going home at noon so they could start priming the walls of their home, but their contractor, Phil, was still not done priming their ceilings. so around 3 neelab, my mother [who invited herself, heh, jehkay], and i went to go see the new james bond movie. we ran into emmett and some of his family -- i met his cousin -- at the end when we were leaving. i didn't see them while coming in.
saturday, november 29 (blacksburg, va)

so on saturday, mustafa and i woke up around 6 to head out to blacksburg. we parked at the same spot he used to park at, in front of the apartment he lived in for 3 years. it was free parking, up for grabs to anyone who wanted to park there. then we went to the Hokie House, a restaurant/bar. i had a Hokie Burger, fries, and water, it was delicious. mustafa got his ticket from a scalper, which is cool, because there's some law that says scalping is legal in blacksburg, but illegal pretty much everywhere else in virginia. umm, then the game! that was lots and lots of fun, especially because VT beat UVA, 17 to 14. we made new friends while there, but i doubt we'll ever see them ever again. heh. there was horrible traffic on the way back.

and now, it is sunday. mustafa leaves back for california tomorrow, and i'll be heading back to school. i've done no homework, meaning, i've not even opened my backpack except to send some notes on the caste system to carter.
i still have half of chapter 14 to outline, the take home test, and the some graphic organizers to do for apush. i've got an essay for humanities, wrap up an essay for apes, and maybe, hopefully, a lab before i fall asleep for apes too. but all in all, i'm quite pleased with the way thanksgiving break went.
3 weeks till winter break,
